Air traffic strike set for 10 October
An umbrella group of air traffic controller unions has called for its 14,000 members to strike on 10
October to protest against the European Commission’s push to force member states to make good
on their commitment to create a Single European Sky.

Taiwan gaining grounds on ICAO observer application status

grounds after 22 foreign journalists worldwide was invited to Taiwan to familiarize with the Republic
of China’s (ROC) efforts to attain observer status in the ICAO, the body that regulates and supervises
civilian aviation around the world.
Norwegian Air: Dreamliner stuck at Arlanda due to brake issues
Norwegian airline Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA Thursday said one of its freshly delivered Boeing
Dreamliner aircraft has been stuck at Arlanda Airport in Sweden since Monday afternoon due to
potential problems with the brakes.
CSeries set to perform high-speed taxi tests
Bombardier hopes to perform high-speed taxi tests with its CSeries airliner on Thursday, in
preparation for first flight “in the coming weeks.”
