Israel closes Haifa Airport due to rockets fire from Lebanon
Israel announced on Friday closure of Haifa Airport, north its lands, following firing of rockets from
Lebanon towards that area yesterday, a spokesman for Israeli army stated.
FAA issues policy to improve workplace safety for aircraft cabin crewmembers
The U.S. Department of Transportation’s Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), working with the
U.S. Department of Labor’s Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), today issued a
final policy for improving workplace safety for aircraft cabin crewmembers.
Potholes on airport runway spell trouble for Nepal tourism
Nepal has asked foreign airlines not to land heavily-loaded wide-body aircraft at the Himalayan
nation’s international airport, aviation authorities said on Friday, after potholes were found on the
runway before the annual influx of mountain-going tourists.
ICAO certifies Nigeria’s airspace as safe
