Walkout for safety
Several weeks after the publication of the final proposal for new Flight Time Limitations (FTL), EU citizens, pilots and cabin crew are calling on politicians and decision-makers to not accept this proposal and to carry out urgently needed changes.
With a simultaneous “Walkout” on 22 January 2013 aircrews across Europe will express alarm over the safety implications of these new rules.

ECA Members have elected new a Board member, Capt. Dirk Polloczek, and re-elected two Board members as well as ECA President Nico Voorbach.

ECA – official partner of Health & Safety campaign
To strengthen ECA’s position on health and safety issues and define a list of short and long term action items, ECA has joined the European Agency for Safety and Health at Work (EU-OSHA) ‘Healthy Workplaces’ campaign. The campaign will raise awareness of health and safety issues within the pilot community and will be used as a platform for exchanging good practices with other professions.

Italian pilots unite
After 25 years Italian pilots are now uniting within one professional association called Associazione Nazionale Piloti Aviazione Commerciale (ANPAC).
